Recently traded in our C class RV for an A class Winnebago. After contacting other RV dealers previously we felt the money they offered us in trade was more than fare. The sales processes was excellent with no pressure. The salesman Rich Gould spent an entire morning demonstrating all the functions of the RV. Selecting a RV is serious business. A wrong decision can break your heart and your wallet. I purchased from Barrington initially because they had the exact unit I wanted at a fair price. But I will stay with Barrington because of their dedication to great customer service before, during and after the sale. This family-owned business is small and very well run. People know how to help you, they care about you, and they understand what its like. My biggest advice for somebody looking to buy a RV is to know your dealer first. Wow! I cant say enough about how great the staff and service were at Barrington RV. They took us on an emergency basis when we needed our slideout fixed at the beginning of our 3 month RV trip. After we provided them with the necessary part to fix the slide, they ensured us the RV would be ready by the end of the day so we could continue our trip. Unfortunately, Barrington realized pretty quickly that we had been given the wrong size slide out parts. Andy, the service manager, was very helpful in working with us and the manufacturer to make sure that we received the correct part. When the new part arrived, Barrington again made us a high priority and they were able to complete the installation in one day. Three weeks later our slide out works better than it ever did. Barrington RV saved our trip and we cant thank them enough. If you are in town and need RV work done Barrington RV is the place to go.

We made an inquiry online while we were traveling and within 2 weeks had traded in our previous camper and brought home a 2023 Winnebago Navion. Rich was a fantastic salesperson before and after we made the purchase. He is a longtime Winnebago owner and camper. He gave us an extremely thorough introduction to the vehicle and gave us lots of tips from his own experiences. Bryan was very helpful with the paperwork and warranty information. We would highly recommend this dealership.

Almost 5 years ago we were pre looking for an upgrade to a rear diesel pusher looking ahead to retirement. We went to BMS to look at the new Sportscoach. Sitting next to it was what we thought a new Winnebago. We told the salesperson what we wanted and he pointed to what I thought was a new Winnebago. It was what we wanted but not being ready, we were ready to walk. Sean, one of the owners came in and talked to us. Gave us a price. We were sitting in the coach discussing for quite a while. He came in twice, giving us a better offer ( which was better than anything my wife could find on internet. ) we bought it. They serviced it for a fair price and took care of our warranty work. Sean was alway available to chat. Fast forward to last week. We had a life change and wanted to sell our rv and later downsize. ( things not being available or cheap) they offered to buy it at a fair price and stuck to it. But when we came in we told Sean to keep an eye out for particular rvs we may be interested in. He happened to have a class C ( sunseeker) just come in and suggested that we could save a ton on trading in. He gave us a great deal and is taking care of a few odds and ends before we pick it up. I haven't written a review for any business till now. Let me start at the beginning, that would be with our salesman (person) Rich Gould. Outstanding individual, no pressure, very patient, and excellent knowledge of his product and we bought our first motorhome from him. Several times during the course of our learning curve on the motorhome Rich was there after the sale to help with problems anytime, this is what customer service is all about. As can be expected there were some issues that needed to be rectified during the course of ownership and the service department did an excellent job, kudos to Vince and Monica, always courteous and willing to help and the technicians who make it all happen! Then there's the brothers Sean and Brian that are exceptional at what the do and thats take care of the customer. These gentleman were taught right and it shows, the facility is clean, the units for sale are spotless, the attention to detail in my opinion is head and shoulders above the competition. So needless to say, our first motorhome was a learning experience that led us to purchase our second motorhome (huge upgrade). Again, Rich was excellent throughout and the staff behind the scenes making adjustments was stellar! If your looking for a motorhome or travel trailer, this is the place, these are the people you need to deal with, you wont be let down. Thank you everyone!

What a great experience and, in the end, we didnt even purchase motorhome. Matt was great in helping us: answering our questions; educating us on the features of the motorhome wand explaining how they and their value; getting the service department to expedite getting the motorhome ready given our short timeframe; explaining the options and value of the warranty; and, finally, getting a great final price. After signing we had an incident that caused us to reverse our decision and Matt, again, was understanding and quickly worked to refund our deposit. It was a truly refreshing experience! Generally, I never leave reviews of anything whether good or bad but I just had to let everyone know what a great experience I had at Barrington Motor Sales RV center. We bought a used 2018 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds 30D Ford. Matt, the salesman, was fantastic in explaining everything to us and all his communication was awesome. Sean, the owner, made us feel right at home with everything. Vince, the Service Manager, kept us up to date on everything that had to be done on the RV. Being a newbie to the RV industry, all of these guys treated us like veterans, even putting up with all my silly questions. At no time were any of these guys pushy about the sale. I put the tow package on my 2020 Jeep Trailhawk and was very hesitant in actually towing my vehicle. Roland, from the service department sensed this and offered to go with me and help me get used to towing my vehicle. We drove around towing my jeep and he gave me one on one pointers while driving. I felt so much more confident after I did all of this. I can guarantee that if my RV needs some service this is the place where I will be taking it to. Anyways, once again, thanks to Matt, Sean, and Vince for your knowledge, patience, and guidance.

Purchased our 2016 Sunstar from Barrington RV and all three of our service appointments have been great. Most recently we had to have our front a/c unit replaced along with a few minor other issues. I dropped our RV off Monday April 5th and the work was completed Tuesday April 6th. You hear about so many service RV horror stories about customers waiting for weeks and even months to have work completed. Thank you for the outstanding and prompt service.

Sean was very truthful about the used motorhome when I called during motorhome research. We needed confidence about the condizioni before driving from Indianapolis. The experience before, during and since the purchase has been all we could hope for. They are concerned about our safety and have helped with all used coach issues since the transaction. Our purchase of a new 2007 Itasca Ellipse was a "dream-come-true" moment for my wife and me! The purchase experience was comfortable, informative and filled with excitement as the entire staff at BMSRV shared in our joy. To Matt, Bryan, and the service dept. at Barrington RV, I just wanted you guys to know how much I appreciate the service you guys have provided us after our initial purchase in February 2011. As you know, this was the first RV we ever bought and I probably took "dumb" to another level. That being said, you guys have been extremely patient, kind,understanding and responsive to all my issues. I cant say enough about Matt. He is available 24/7 when I call him or text him. He has responded at midnight and at 5:30am. I cant say enough about him. He is also unbelieveably knowledgeable. When you never owned an RV before you really are not accustomed to all the little things that need to be done in order to make sure everything works properly. As Matt says" you are driving a house on wheels" so things are going to bounce around anditems will need to be adjusted. I had to get used to that. Matt seems to know every nuance and trick and is able to covey that knowledge to even someone like myself, who is admittedly, not a candidate to replace Bob Villa on This Old House. I have had numerouse issues with my coach, mostly due to my own ignorance or forgetfullness, and Matt has told me how to get thru every one of them. If I was starting my own RV business, Id try to hire Matt. In addition, the service guys at Barrington RV also said that I should let them know when I plan on taking out my RV because they will turn on the refridgerator and make sure everything is good to go. Where can you get service like that? Not may places. Typically, if someone knows you dont know what your doing, they will try to take advantage of you,not educate you. Bryan, Sean, Matt and the guys out of service are cut out of the same mold. I will always recommend to anybody I can, that Barrington RV is the place to go for somebody that wants a good deal on a RV, and also has great people to help you long after the initial deal is done. Matt, Bryan, Sean and the service department. I was looking at your website and decided to fill ou the customer survey and add some comments about your organization. Donna and I had thought about buying a motor home for a long time and would occasionally stop by various dealers to look at new and used RVs. Our experience felt like buying a used car. The sales personnel were very pushy wanted to sell anything we looked at, and not very knowledgeable .When we stopped at Barrington Motors and Matt greeted us and showed us some of your products it was different,we felt like we were dealing with a long time friend or relative. He did not try to sell us just anythng but reviewed our concerns and needs and gave us his recommendations. We were still not sure if we were ready to make the purchase, but were sure if we did buy we would like to buy from him. His knowledge of RVs and ability to explain in terms we could understand made us feel very comfortable . I would love everyone to know my story and feel as great as I do about Barrington R.V I started out with a mistake. In 2011 I purchased a travel trailer not being experienced and with not knowing what to expect, I made a costly mistake. I flew from Oregon to purchase a used Winnebago View. This is my first RV so I had lots of questions especially since I was driving it 2300 miles back to Oregon in the winter. Bryan was great on the phone, answering all kinds of silly questions so that by the time I arrived I already knew what to expect. Once there Bryan and their tech Alphonso spent hours going over the rig so that I knew it inside and out. They advertised the rig to be in great shape and it was everything they said. It was clean and spotless. They allowed me to spend the first night on their lot, called to check on me in route, answered questions I had after I got home and followed up a couple of weeks later to make sure I was satisfied. I have my propane filled at barrington RV. The people are professional, kind, thoughtful, and pleasant. Who knew getting propane could be fun and enjoyable. I was looking to buy a new travel trailer, as I had grown tired of dropping $3000 every spring into my old Keystone Springdale. I did a great deal of research into both travel trailer brands and best available deals. Out of that research it was clear that Winnebago (Sunnybroook) towables are top of the heap on quality/ value, and Barrington was more than 10% better than any other price I was able to source out in the US! Being from western Canada- I had to purchase the unit site unseen. My salesman (Rich) was very helpful in describing the units available, and working through the many questions I needed adressed to commit to the sale. As needed through the process- Bryan and Sean Bransky were involved and were very helpful. I was provided with a thorough 2 hour pre-delivery orientation, given a great deal on some add ons I needed, and even given some swag as I headed off on the 28hr drive home! I was particularly impressed with the time / effort / patience Rich and Bryan took to make sure I was pleased with what I was purchasing. What occurred to me was that my experience was on one of the more entry level new units in their lot, and I was there the week-end before the Memorial Day weekend- likely the busiest weekend of the year for RV sales. In short- I caught them at what should have been their worst and I was thrilled with the support. Edmonton Alberta to Bartlett IL is a long drive, but I feel like it was well worth it for the product and service I recieved. Great job!

I purchased my Winnebago, Navion in February 2013 from Barrington, Motor Homes. I met Matt Scheerenberger at that time as he was conducting the introduction to my new Dream RV. Matt ended our get together with handshake, looked me in the eye and congratulated me on my purchase. He handed me his card with his personal cell number and said to me if you ever have a problem no matter how big or small, no matter what time of day or nightcall me.Over the past two years I have called Matt with a number of questions, some as I reflect my 8 year old grandson could have figured out, but not me. As promised, he has always been there, appreciated my delema and solved the problem. Just last night as the temperature creeped past zero on its way to 10 below my dream RV decided it didnt like the cold and refused to start or give any hint of life. This was bad timimg as we were planning on hitting the road for Florida the next morning. Im sure Matt had any number of things to do on a Friday evening but when I called he gave me his undivided, heartfelt attention. We reviewed normal protocols for the problem, he hung up and found some of the techs, asked their input but we were stymied. At home we were disappointed with our faith and contemplating they first few days of our vacation at the local Mercedes shop. As we cried in our beer Matt was pounding the keyboard of his computer looking for a solution to the problem. Our problem became his problem. Within the hour Matt had found a note from a technician having delt with the same problem and had posted his story on the internet. The solution, simple enough was a blown fuse but it might best be characterized as the perverbial needle in the haystack.Happily we are writing this testimonial as we head eastbound on Interstate 24, well on our way to warmer temperatures and sunshine.Being in the service industry I have always felt that if someone took as much interest in me as I did in them I would consider myself lucky. Matt went over and above my expectations and saved the day for us.

We purchased our second motor home from BRV. Brian, Shawn, and the crew are all friendly and professional.
